A fine art, giclée print set behind glass in a solid frame with a smooth black finish for a clean and simple touch. Hanging hardware, protective bumpers, and artist narrative on back.
As a participant in the Escalante Canyons Plein Air Event, I found a new locale to paint along the Cottonwood Wash Road near Hackberry Creek. On a large, downed cottonwood I noticed a profuse number of feathers, and something large in the middle. The mound had talons, legs but nothing else...just feathers everywhere. This appeared to be the remains of a large hawk, but a mystery as to what had happened.
It spoke to me in the uncertainty of life, of peace, and chaos, so I painted it.
